Age And Safety Points…….
Obviously when looking to buy a ride on electric car for your child, you need to know it is going to be safe and suitable. The age range is between 3+ years and can easily carry 2 children of this age.
The car has 2 speeds, forwards and reverse, and is powerful enough to be ridden on grass which is important to many parents.
High-Speed Lockout……
The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon actually comes with a few safety aspects such as the high-speed lockout. The high-speed lockout actually allows you to use a screw to stop the car going at its MAX speed. Although the MAX speed is only 5mph, this high-speed lockout allows beginners to get used to the car first before speeding off.
This is a really good feature.
Brakes Made Safe…….
It also features “Power-Lock” brakes too, for extra safety. Although the jeep doesn’t have a high max speed, this certainly does give you piece of mind, the brakes are important after all.
Good Battery Life……
The electric car runs on a 12v battery and once fully charged, has a considerable charge time which should be noted. Some electric battery powered cars have been known to run out of charge quickly, but the Power Wheels Jeep Wrangler Rubicon has a good charge.
This avoids the disappointed faces when the car stops working and needs charging. An overnight charge is likely to last the day.
The Design Is Just About Spot On…….
The design and build of the Power Wheels Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is just about spot on and looks very similar to the real thing. I had a jeep electric car as a kid, and it was nowhere near as detailed as this in look and build.
Although times have changed and with them ride on cars!
Overall, the design is great, and the jeep also features very sturdy grab bars to the sides making it easy, and safe for your children to climb in and out.
I especially like the rear storage feature too. This is a nice touch and your child can carry their favourite belongings around with them.
